Maths Pack One

 

Flexigons – Draw shapes.

 

Polygon Paint – Paint shapes on a grid

 

Clock – Useful tool as you can add or subtract in varying time intervals. Am/pm. Digital/analogue.

 

Reflection – Allows the formation of your own symmetrical patterns.

 

Co-ordinates – 2 axes or all 4 quadrants

 

Angle drag – You can adjust the angle and hide the answer.

 

Random Angles – Measuring . On screen protractor. You can hide answers.

 

Angles – Straight Line – As above

 

 

Maths Pack 2

 

Sum Flash – Addition: Flash cards to print out. Font size can be ajusted.

 

Sum Flash – Subtraction: As above.

 

Sum Flash – Multiplication: As above.

 

Sum Flash – Division: As above.

 

Class Count 1: Set the starting number, set the increment.

 

Class Count 2: As above but displayed as a circle.

 

Order (KS1): Put the numbers in order. ( up to 2 digits)

 

Order (KS2): As above but with up to 4 digits.

Billy Bug: Co-ordinates - Numbers to numbers.

 

Spin to Win: Play the equivalent of the old 'Dusty Bin' place value game. 3/4/5/boxes.

Ghostblasters 1 : Choose multiples of 2 - 20. Zap the ghosts!

Ghostblasters 11: As above but number bonds.

Ghostblasters 111: Add/subtract U+U, TU+U, TU+TU, U-U, TU-U, TU-TU.

Darts: Conventional game but with an added 'wobble factor'.

 

Spooky Sequences: Count on or back in 2's, 5's or 10's. fill in th3e missingh number. Square numbers.

 

Fraction Flags: Halves, quarters, thirds.

 

Tiles: Use given numbers to +, - , multiply or divide and ( ) to make every number from 0 - 35.

 

Primary Games Vol 2

 

Banana Hunt: Move the line to alter the degrees. ' Banana score' if you get within 5 degrees.

 

Billy Bug 2: Co-ordinates in alll 4 quadrants. Time to beat.

 

Give a Dog a Bone: Blank 100 square. Timed. Try and find 10 hidden bones (at given numbers) before the time runs out.

 

(Scrambled: NOT MATHS! - anagrams)

 

Powerlines: Puzzle. Good challenge to complete lines to all add up to same number.

 

Splat Squares: 0 - 99 or 1 - 100 grid. Use colours to colour in multiples etc.

 

Ghostblasters: Odds and evens.

 

Grid Lock: Logic puzzle - play in pairs.

 

Sum Sense: multpiy or divide single digit = or -. Timed.

 

Speed Grid Challenge: +, - or multiply.

 

(Word Workout: NOT MATHS! - Play game Hangman without the corpse!)

Class Clock: Analogue and digital. Set the time to move on at specific

intervals eg 15 mins.

 

Worksheets: Year based and NNS linked. Yr 1 – 4. Even has a French

section! Some games to print off and play.

 

Games: Bang on Time – Stop the clock when it reaches the set time.

Stop the Clock – press stop at the right moment. Match analogue

and digital. Try and beat your best score.

Bingo: Cards to print off. Screen display with calculation to do. Wonderful as

a mental starter!

 

Paint Squares: Multiplication Grid

1 – 100 Square

0 – 99 Square

 

Table Mountain: You choose to practise x1 to x10 tablwes or mixed. Can either play alone or with partner.

 

Times Tables: Try and beat the clock. Choose the table to practise.

Individual use.

 

Multiplying Monkeys: A very good program for teaching arrays. Shows both

ways for any calculation ( up to 10 x 10) that you

enter.

 

Worksheets: Impressive collection. You can produce many ( more than 30 )

different versions of the same level so no child needs to be

sitting next to someone with exactly the same sheet!
