www.ictgames.com This is a spin-off from the Toftwood Infant School site. The Head there, who writes all the games, has decided to move his games to this site and so all new games that he puts on will only be available through this site. The old games can still be accessed through the Toftwood School Site. Thoroughly good games for Numeracy (and Literacy)and some materials for other subjects if you scroll down to the bottom of the page. Flight for Fuel: Fly the spaceship around and try to get fuel, but look out for the rocks (you can shoot them). There is a number at the top of the screen. You should collect enough fuel to go with the top number before all of your fuel runs out. Be careful! If you collect too much fuel then you have to start again. Sarah and Claire The amount goes up to 20 so it is good for practising adding. Nathan Counting Caterpillar: This is a brilliant game for younger children. You have to put the numbers in order and then press the caterpillar. It will then eat the leaves. Charlotte and another girl You can vary the numbers from 0 to more than 9500. Sam and Ross It is good fun, especially when the caterpillar makes the crunchy noises. Adiba Soccer Subtraction: In this simple game for Year 1's you learn how to do standard subtraction. We enjoyed it. Ross and William Mostly Postie!: Drop the letter on the scales and see how much it weighs. Type in the amount and press 'check' to see if you are right. If you are the Post van drives away. Sarah and Kerry Save the Whale: This is a good game for learning number bonds and getting them sharp in time for SATs. Nathan and William Bridge Doubles: This game is for 5 year olds. It is a game where you double the number that you are asked and when you double it a little yellow car goes across a bridge and if you get it wrong it falls into the river. Mitchell 100 Hunt: You have to find the number as quick as you can on the board. It will time you so try and beat your best score. Alexandra Safe Cracker: You have to figure the code out and after several goes you have your spaceship. You then have to shoot the passing rocks but don't let them touch your ship or it will blow up. Alexandra Tables Shooter: You get a multiplication sum and you have to make your aeroplane shoot the right answer to get a point. Keep going until you have enough points to stop and assemble an aeroplane,a helicopter or a spaceship. Kayvan and Nathan Nutty Numbers: Collect the nuts and miss the rocks. Collect the nuts in order. This is a bit harder than it looks! Alexandra 5 and a bit Ogre Hit!: Make the number of red balls match the red number at the top of the screen and then do the same with the green ball. When you've answered click 'load and fire'. If you are right the ogre will be hit. A super game! Sarah and Kerry The Dragon's Eggs: This game is good because it helps you learn odd and even numbers. You scroll along with an animation of a dragon and it is timing you at the same time. Marie, Mollie and another Yr6 girl Funky Mummy: There are sums above the Mummies' heads. You click on the Mummy with the correct answer and it will then dance. Z (Year 6 girl) Funky Mummy 20: This game has funny animationsof a dancing Egyptian mummy. It helps you with number bonds to 20. The instructions are straight forward. Marie and another Yr6 girl Counting Cars: Counting Cars is a fun game. You have to count the cars and find the one in the middle that is your target number. You then have to drive your car to the right parked car and crash into it. If you crash 3 cars you get a new car. Rachel and Jessica Rocket Constructor: You have to move the rocket parts along 1-99 steps so that it makes a complete rocket. It is good fun and would be enjoyed by young children. Joseph Add 10 Sub Challenge: Add 10 to the number you are given. It is a really great game for young children. Daniel The Date Chart: You can sort out the date and the weather and add your own name and then print off a chart for your wall. You will love it! Kaylei Hickory Dickory Clock: This is a great game. You have to feed the mouse cheese that will be on the right clocks. If you get it wrong the cat will be after you. Fatah Shout: You have to kick a ball into the goal and it has to be 10 less than the number on the goalie's shirt. Karen Change eXchanger: It is a good game for little children to practise working out change. You can give change for 10p at the easy level and 20p at the hard level.
